The place of treaties of Europe Council in the law of EU

Abstract

The article deals with the agreements concluded within the framework of the Council of Europe and included in the legal system of the European Union. The author has examined the issues of interaction and cooperation between the two organizations. He carried out a comparative analysis of the importance of the Council of Europe’s treaties and standards for the European Union and its development.
