The legal basis of association of Ukraine to the European Union

Abstract

The article elucidates theoretical and practical issues of the creation of the association between Ukraine and the European Union, as the first step for the integration of the state into EU. The impact of the EU acquis on the harmonization of
Ukrainian legislation with the law of the Union is being under consideration. Special attention is paid to the consideration of the institutional mechanisms of the association.
