Анотація

In the article the author analyzed the influence of regional integration between the EU members and the economies of the Eastern and Central Europe (ECE) on the flow of foreign direct investments. The analysis includes the criticism of the existing theories explaining the interdependence between the economic integration and the flows of foreign direct investments. The author offered an estimated forecast for the expected long term level of foreign direct investments in the ECE economies. The au- thor also analyzed the possible influence of rising investment attractiveness of sev- eral ECE countries in the eyes of foreign investors.
