Анотація

In the article it is allocated a number of the key tendencies in the process of military concept formation in Russia Federation. It was done the analy- sis of the basic factors that configures the present day political and military secu- rity of Russia. These tendencies and factors are prerequisites for the concept of strategic containment in all geopolitical vectors of Russia today. The article pres- ents the analysis of the content of the strategic containment for Russia in light of the new military doctrine formation in modern Russia.
