ЕВОЛЮЦІЯ ПОНЯТТЯ РЕГІОНУ У ДОСЛІДЖЕННІ МІЖНАРОДНИХ ПОЛІТИЧНИХ РЕГІОНІВ

Дослідження присвячено методологічній проблемі становлення та еволюції поняття ≪регіон≫ у міжнародно-політичних дослідженнях регіональних систем та інститутів. Трансформація підходів та множинність аспектів, які вивчають дослідники міжнародного регіоналізму, зумовлюють важливе місце проблеми термінології у спеціалізованих дослідженнях. Оскільки поняття регіону є центральним для розуміння місця та ролі території у дослідженні регіоналізму, визначення напрямів та результатів трансформації терміну у наукових роботах є важливим чинником ефективності наукових розвідок регіональної проблематики міжнародних відносин.
У статті розглянуто поступову трансформацію поняття регіону від перших спроб, які у політичній географії було зроблено для перенесення поняття в площину вивчення міжнародних феноменів, із урахуванням особливостей міжнародно-політичного контексту, до становлення окремих методологічних підходів міжнародно-політичних досліджень до визначення поняття регіону та його використання в межах різних теорій та наукових шкіл у вивченні міжнародного регіоналізму та регіоналізації. Становлення в політичній науці міжнародного регіоналізму як окремого феномену не в останню чергу пов’язано саме із розробкою гнучких та різноманітних підходів до визначення поняття.
Визначено зв’язок трансформації визначення поняття регіону у міжнародно-політичних дослідженнях із еволюцією підходів до вивчення феномену міжнародного регіоналізму, множинністю аспектів регіоналізму в міжнародних відносинах, ускладненням типології регіоналізму в процесі розвитку міжнародного співробітництва у різних просторах світової системи.
