Foreign policy evolution analysis as a scientific field

Abstract

This article surveys the development of foreign policy analysis. It opens with a review of three main periods of foreign policy analysis’ evolution and then goes on to explore the impact of globalization on the field. It is stressed what global pro- cesses mean for the making and conduct of foreign policy. In conclusion, we discuss the suggestions for perspectives that can improve foreign policy analysis in the future.
