INTERNET AND GLOBALIZATION: SOCIO-CULTURAL ASPECTS

Abstract

The article deals with globalization as a certain historical step in the evolution of people’s society. It includes the development of economic interplay between different regions, countries and also the dissemination of international connections in economic, socio-political and cultural spheres of the society. The process of globalization is heterogeneous and it collides with national interests of certain countries, it has contradictory character. Internet plays a significant role in the process of globalization.
