THE GREEK INFLUENCE ON COMMON EUROPEAN CURRENCY

Abstract

The global financial system slipped under the influence of the financial crisis that has direct impact on the economies of individual countries, but also on the economy of the European Community as a whole. The economic development of Greece became the main factor that increased the influence of the global financial crisis on the economy of the European Union. The paper paid particular attention to the role of Greece in the EU, estimated its impact on the Euro, and made the conclusions on the future of the euro in the world.
