Abstract

The article analyzes the destructive influence of the interstate water-energy con-
tradictions in the Central Asia region on the organizational stability of the Shanghai Co-
operation Organization (SCO/ShOS). It is proved that extension of the number of the
SCO/ShOS Member-States is not expected until these contradictions are settled or min-
imized.
