Abstract

Abstract. Among the legal categories used to characterize international information relations,
stands and holds a special place international legal regime for information. The need to
install it due to the need to take account of interests and subjects of international law in the use
of information in international relations.
The legal regime of information consists of several components: the subjects of the legal
regime, the object of legal regulation, complex ways and means of regulation of the legal impact
and purpose.
The subjects of the international legal regime of information are the subjects of international
law – states and international organizations. They carry all kinds of information activities that
are necessary for their operation and as directly interested in the dissemination of information,
and limit the dissemination of information in a certain sense. The object of the regulation for
which establish different types of international legal regime is information. A complex methods
of international law is the main element of the legal regime, to which belong the ban, and authorized
prescription. These methods are used to establish and maintain an international legal
regime media and fixed in the law. Using the methods of international legal regulation (permits,
prohibitions and regulations) may occur in some cases that is determining how to measure the
availability of certain information, and in the degree of certainty possible dissemination of certain
information. Purpose of the international legal regime ordering information is of use in international
relations.
The forms of an international legal regime of information are: access to information and dissemination
of information. In this part of the author’s opinion, the international legal regime of
information most relevant to the needs of the subjects of international law in the exercise of specific
types of international information activities.
