DEVELOPMENT OF THE RELATIONS BETWEEN LATIN AMERICA STATES AND EUROPEAN UNION IN THE CONTEXT OF IBERO-AMERICAN COMMUNITY OF NATIONS

Abstract

Abstract. The author attempts to analyze the development of relations of theLatin American
countries with the EU member states at the political, economic and social levels in the context
of an entity that unites all Ibero-American countries of the world.
Taking into account the actuality of the integration processes research, as well as the required
engagement of Ukraine into these processed, as a state that aspires to be a full-fledged
member of the world community, it is important at the current stage of development of Ukraine
to study the mechanisms of engagement in cooperation not only with particular countries of the
world, but also integration entities.
Hispanic and Russian language sources constituted the main basis of the research: publications
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, and some states of Latin America, Spanish-language
periodicals of Ibero-American countries, website of the MFA of Spain. Among
Russian-language sources: scientific periodical publications and articles in the journals «Latin
America», «World economy and international relations».
