ASEAN surrounded by asian neighbors: from confrontation to partnership

Abstract

The article spotlights the main stages of relations’ development between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and leading regional states of East and South Asia; special attention is paid to elucidating of this interaction influence on formation of security system in the Asian-Pacific region.
