The implementation of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages in the Ukrainian legislation

Abstract

The author analyzes a number of legislative acts adopted after the ratification of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages. Considerable attention was paid to Ukraine to bring national legislation in the field of linguistic rights of national minorities in accordance with European standards. Ukraine creates the conditions for equitable development and active participation of representatives of the various nationalities in the socio-economic, political, spiritual and cultural life of the State .
