The analysis of effectiveness of costs for environmental protection in the European Union

The article analyzes the effectiveness of environmental protection expenditures in the European Union. Economic and mathematical modeling of the effects of investment in environmental protection was conducted. In addition, the article provides a forecast for environmental protection expenditures in the EU-27 for 2012-2014.Key words: environmental protection expenditure, EU, multiplier, environmental policy.
