Abstract

The article analyses the effect of several measures increasing economic freedom
(strengthening judicial independence and capacity, legal protection of intellectual
property, lowering price controls by the government and administrative business regulations,
foreign trade liberalization, and ensuring free movement of capital) on the
economic growth and current account balance of Ukraine.
