Abstract

Abstract. Intensification impact svitovohospodarskyh processes on the development of the
national economy is in the context of increasing competition and increasing importance of
transnational development factors. The global financial crisis has confirmed the vulnerability
of the Ukrainian economy on external factors that are expressed in concrete actions of the country’s
trading partners. In this regard, significantly increased the value of foreign policy as a key
tool for social and economic development, improving the competitiveness of the economy and
protect national producers. Increasing the impact of internal control measures of foreign trade
in general arsenal of measures to ensure economic security.
The article examines the impact of the implementation of foreign trade policy to ensure the
competitiveness of the national economy in terms of global instability. The analysis of the effectiveness
of implementation of foreign trade in the Ukraine and identifies areas of improvement.
The ways to increase the role of foreign trade in ensuring the competitiveness of the
national economy on the world market. Provides suggestions for strengthening the position of
the domestic economy.
Particular attention is paid to the generalization of features specific transformation of foreign
relations and the problems of the formation of modern national foreign policy, establishing
priorities of Ukraine’s national interests given its integration development.
