Abstract

Abstract. The article deals with the role of Transportation corridors in the development of
cross-border cooperation regions of Ukraine in terms of activation of the European integration
process.
Deals with cooperation in the European regions and international organizations and associations,
neighbourhood programs, infrastructure projects.
Special attention is paid to the analysis of problems and prospects of Ukrainian Danube maritime
economy, transportation and logistics capacity which is not fully used, which is the main
cargo carried along the road or railway through the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
To solve the problem, the challenge is to build a road through the Dniester firth and construction
of the bridge over the Danube "Orlovka - Isaccea" ( alternatively - ferry "Ismail Tulcea").
Construction of the highway to the south of Odessa region is important for the international
transport and tourism.
Deals with ways to implement the Euro-Asian Oil Transportation Corridor in the international
energy sector of the Black Sea region, the practical implementation of which involves the
creation of sovereign wealth funds.
Thus, the deepening of cross-border cooperation makes it possible to implement a large international
projects, introduce new models of regional cooperation.
