Abstract

Abstract. The changes that have occurred not only in economy, but in the world as a whole,
have affected the development of our society. The growing role of transnational corporations
(TNCs) and their contribution to society require more detailed consideration of the peculiarities
of their functioning.
Over the past decades, especially the question of imposing certain obligations to TNCs, as
much power and influence on the social processes and require a high level of responsibility. Increasing
attention from the authorities and society, and international organizations invited to the
social component of the activities of corporations and their corporate social responsibility
(CSR).
The subject of study is the phenomenon of CSR in international business, modern technologies
and institutional forms of CSR. Goal - analysis of the global phenomenon of CSR, the determination
of its features at domestic and foreign enterprises, generalization of technologies and
institutional forms of corporate social responsibility of the modern Ukrainian enterprises, the
granting of methodical recommendations for their improvement.
Methodological base for the preparation of this paper are the works of famous Western, Russian,
and Ukrainian economists on the subject of the research, the results of our own developments,
analysis of the main international and Ukrainian technologies CSR, economic bases of
the establishment of practices of social responsibility of companies in Ukraine, as well as the
main international standards in the field of CSR. To achieve this goal methods are used: dialectic,
historical, logical system.
In result of studies identified technologies and institutional forms of CSR, which is used by
the leading company (for example, DTEK). It is proved that they are focused on improving competitiveness
in the interests of the company and society, and provides practical recommendations
to Ukrainian enterprises for the further implementation of CSR as an opportunity to enter foreign
markets. Scope of research results: the modern economic theory and international practice
of corporate social responsibility.
