Abstract. The development of economic system is the process of its potential evolution. That
is why the investigation of the issues of potential management and process modeling of its formation
and realization were and are of current interest. Potential management should be considered
as constituent part of enterprise management. During its operation such problems are
solved as evaluation of total potential value and its constituents; formation of sufficient and required
potential value; its structural balance; effective realization of its potential.
In the article partitioning of enterprise’s constituents by functional parts was made. Among
them are productive-technological, marketing, working, financial and management potential.
During the partitioning innovative, informative, knowledgeable and ecological constituents were
distinguished. They are the source of successful realization of enterprise strategy, risk minimization
both operational and innovative activity under the conditions of modern society.
The tool that helps to form, evaluate and analyze different scripts of potential management
is called simulation modeling. It bases on the methodology of system analysis. The author concluded
the conceptual model of potential. It may partially form management process in forming
and realization of enterprise potential. Due to this fact the effectiveness of enterprise management
and level achievement of its goals is growing. Required potential value of enterprise is defined
by set goals of development, conditions and level of potential realization. And the process
of potential formation provides the definition of required value of each constituent and the balance
between its value and structure.
Key words: enterprise potential, social–economical system, partitioning of potential constituents,
model of formation and realization of enterprise potential.
