The european standards for the protection of right to health and the legislation of Ukraine

Abstract

The article is devoted to research of the activities of the European Union and the Council of Europe in the field of protection of the right to health and to European standards of the protection of this right. In addition, it is described the analysis of the contractual mechanisms of the European Union and the Council of Europe. It is singled out the basic requirements for Member States in implementation and protection of the right to health. The author focuses on the problem of protection of the right to health in the Member States, including Ukraine. It is considered the results of the implementation in Ukraine of the European standards of protection of the right to health and defined the requirements to support and protect the right to health.
