The legal regulation of rivalry in the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU

Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement especially chapter on competition. It was proved that competition policy is a core element of the free trade area & its effective functioning. There were described basic gaps of Ukrainian legislation on protection of economic competition; it was determined trends & perspectives for its future in connection with the entry into force of the Association Agreement.
