The principle of political association and economic integration in the bilateral relations between Ukraine and the European Union

Abstract

The Association Agenda has a number of basic principles and among them - the principle of political association, economic integration and joint participation, shared responsibility and joint evaluation. The author makes an attempt to prove that the formula of the relations on the basis of «political association and economic integration» is the new practice in the EU foreign relations. This article analyzes the history of establishment of this principle in bilateral relations of Ukraine and the EU and proves its existence in the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
