THE MAASTRICHT CONVERGENCE CRITERIA: PROSPECTS OF UKRAINE

Abstract

This paper analyzes the conformity of Ukrainian economy accordance with the European requirements for accession to the EU, based on the convergence criteria, the implementation of which gives countries the right to join the Economic and Monetary Union, which is based on a comparative analysis of these indicators for Ukraine and the new EU member states - the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
