Abstract

Throughout history, the use of the UN Peacekeeping forces in peace support operations was limited due to certain circumstances. It is important to understand the term «Peacekeeping» and differ it from the term «Peacemaking». United Nations, Peacekeeping operations, Collective security, Peacekeeping, Peacemaking.
