The ways and directions of transformation of the UN Security Council

Abstract

Modern society, modern world, financial, productive and economic forces , world challenges greatly differ from the situation, when the UN ,and in particular the Security Council, was organized. Since 1945 the modern world has changed drastically, characteristic features of nowadays are not the force of the armies or gold in the depository and even not the indices of industrial production, agriculture etc. The characteristic features of modern world are globalization, cosmopolitisation, disappearance of national borders, and strengthening the relations with all the countries of the world without exception. The main features are the developed sphere of non-material production, scientific progress, especially in the sphere of informational technologies, potentialities of financial system of the country. All this makes the necessary conditions for changing the structure of the organisation.
