«ОСОБЛИВІ ВІДНОСИНИ» ЯК ВИЗНАЧАЛЬНИЙ ФАКТОР БРИТАНСЬКОЇ РОЛІ В ПІВНІЧНОАТЛАНТИЧНОМУ АЛЬЯНСІ

Abstract

The article deals with the aspect of US-UK partnership called special relationship.
The writer stresses on main tyrical features of this phenomenon including permanency
of bilateral ties and their significance for both states. Cosidering the importance of
NATO for policies of the USA and UK the factor of special relations proves to be in-
separable from the UK activities within the Alliance. Most of Britain’s armed forces are
commited to NATO.
