Abstract

The article deals with the participation of Syria in the process of regional eco-
nomic integration. Be presented that economic integration in the Arab region, with
all its contradictions and inconsistencies, is one of the means of defending and pro-
tecting national interests of the country, and implementation of ideas to build the
Great Arab Free Trade Area and is to promote social and economic development of
all countries participating in the project.
