Abstract

The article studies recent trends in regulation of financial soundness of bank sys-
tem, defines range of tasks to be resolved by the macroprudential policy, describes
the essence and goals of macroprudential regulation instruments, compares their
classifications, offers a generalized theoretical basis for future investigations of
macroprudential toolkit.
