Abstract

The paper considers contemporary trends of the foreign direct investment flows
in Asian newly industrialized countries (NIC), transnational corporations (TNC) ac-
tivities in these countries. It proposes NIC classification on the basis of foreign in-
vestment scale as well as impact of TNC on their economic development.
