Abstract

Abstract. Contemporary geopolitical structure of Europe lives through the significant
changes, which are substantially bound with the influence of the factors of energy security.
Thereupon researching the main parameters of the eventual processes of regionalization of the
European continent in terms of the context of energy security becomes more and more important.
Considering those occasions, which make significant influence on contemporary Ukraine,
no less valuable for our country turn the problems of energy security, stability and diversification
of the energy supply as well as its production sources. Currently takes place the rearrangement
of the country’s energy balance as well as the change of the geography of the
energy supply to the Ukrainian territory. In this concern Central and Eastern Europe becomes
more important for Ukraine. This article is devoted to the study of the main parameters and dimensions
of the energy security sector of this region as well as the role and the place of Ukraine
in this context.
