Abstract

Abstract. The political processes at the Middle East region always were difficult and unpredictable.
For the sake of its strategic location, this region is also important for the leading
states in the context of its geopolitical interests.
The Syrian conflict is continuing since 2011 from mass-meetings, which opposed B. Asad
regime to civil war with a difficult inner structure. For the sake of external support, B. Asad
regime keeps under its control nearly 48% of Syrian territory. The other parts are under control
of opposition and Islamic State.The article also deals with the complex analysis of military conflict in Syria and its impact
on the international relations at the Middle East region. Attention is concentrated on geopolitical
dimension of these changes. Research is carried out on various approaches towards conflict
regulation expressed by different states of the region and beyond the region.
