Abstract

Abstract. Dedicated to an essential scientific issue – geopolitical and geo-economic PRC interests
system determination in Persian Gulf region in contexts of Middle Eastern strategy of Beijing.
In post-bipolar epoch there is a clear tendency to the intensification of PRC positions in
the region. It might lead to its further stepping up in field of regional security. Extending its
sphere of influence, Beijing aims to limit the influence of other non-regional countries, meanwhile
declaring a policy of non-interference. US efforts to rule single-handedly security of Persian
Gulf are facing Chines actions on connection establishment with region states, which is
being determined by the complex of its geopolitical and geo-economic factors, especially by energetic,
strategic, security, cultural and religious values. Persian Gulf plays a crucial role in the
global energy security system. Thus much of attention is being paid to energy factor role in Chinese
policy in Middle East. Main approaches for Chinese geopolitical and geo-economic interests’
realization in Persian Gulf countries are being determined.
