Abstract. There are the considered progress of modern power market trends in this article.
Analyzed problems of outspent of traditional energy sources, and in this connection inevitable
growth of price on them.

Well-proven necessity of wide implementation of alternative energy in the world, and his principal
reasons are selected. The results of development and use of renewable energy (RE) sources
are described in the countries of the world. It is marked that in 2014 alternative energy in the
USA became competitive, and can be used at price of traditional.
The in detail grounded necessity of state support is exposed, and similarly investments for development
of RE. On the modern stage sun energy is more than all financed. The leaders of investing
to alternative energy is China, USA, India.
In the article proved, that large scale introduction of alternative energy sources can, while
partly, to decide such pressing questions, as national and global power safety. For this reason
development of RE must be distinguished to priority directions of energy strategy of any country
of the world.
