THE FORMATION OF POLITICAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF BORDER COMMUNITIES: INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

Abstract. Analyzed the issues of cross-border cooperation of communities in the emerging
information society. The author notes that modern interactive communication technologies play
an important role in shaping the political consciousness of the inhabitants of the cross-border
territories. Blogs and social networking sites to inform the public about the events of the crossborder
life, form and value orientation is largely determined by the thoughts and orientation of
people who are included in the cross-border information and communications environment, define
conscious behavior. In this article analyzed the positive trends of social networking applications
that prove their positive impact on the political consciousness.
Analyzed the open social networking group «Vkontakte» and Facebook – related issues European
integration. Found that they inform the public about European integration, form pro-European
orientation and values, determine political thought and orientation of people in the
political space. The information spread through social networks and blogs , European integration
affects people’s minds. However, since the EU positively oriented groups are not so many
young people, in particular, and Ukrainian, is influenced by anti-integration of news, views and
statements. Formation of political consciousness the cross-border communities through interactive
forms of political communication needs in mastering the basics of network culture.
