Abstract

Abstract. In the article modern scientific approaches to understanding power politics, the
transformation of international relations, the ratio of global and national policy are considered.
In international politics there are intense changes that create a development of international
relations as a science. Special attention is given to internal factors, natural, economic, demographic
and other conditions that allow the state to determine their foreign policy and qualify
for the position on the international scene. In addition, the importance of foreign policy is the
definition of national interests and the political will to their implementation.
An example of France allows us to consider influence of domestic factors on foreign policy.
It allows seeing how the historical past, migration and geographic proximity to the African continent
influence its foreign policy. France is the country with the most numerous Muslim communities
in Europe, an active network of Muslim organizations, financed from the outside.
Attempts of Muslims adaptation to European standards are exposed to criticism and protests
from Muslims. France is in searching of domestic and foreign policy designed to relieve tension
in the society, as multicultural and integration policy has not given the expected results.
