INTERNATIONAL PARAMETERS OF ESTIMATION OF EFFICIENCY OF INSURANCE OF AGRARIAN SECTOR OF UKRAINE

Abstract

Abstract. The article is devoted to the research of international parameters of estimation of
efficiency of insurance of agrarian enterprises of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization.
Special role of agrarian sector in socio-economic development of country is stipulated by the
unique combination of favourable natural and climatic terms and geostrategic position, by
possibility of Ukraine to take the adequate place at the international food market. Taking this
into account forming of the grounded and purposeful agrarian policy is acquired importance.
The main principles of this policy must answer the vector of speed-up market transformation of
the economic system of our state. Next to it this industry is one of the most risky economic sectors, because of influence of natural, biological and other factors.
Because of it, the system of providing of avoidance of unfavorable events risks, which can
harm his development, has priority importance for effective development of agrarian sector of
Ukraine. Agrarian insurance, as one of more reliable methods of avoidance of risks, enables to
combine interests of participants of market and state, as a side, the near-term task of which is
providing of the stable economy growing, welfare of citizens and their social defense.
Already today this industry occupies leading positions on foreign markets in relation to the
export of sunflower-seed oil and grain-crops. It’s subsequent development depends of determination
of the system of indexes of complex evaluation of efficiency of insurance of agricultural
risks.
