CREATION OF ASEAN AND PECULIARITIES OF ITS EVOLUTION

Abstract

Abstract. The article spotlights origin, development and deepening of the integration
processes in South-East Asia region; widening of ASEAN’s composition is represented in context
of region’s states participation in international relations of the post-bipolar age. The beginning
of the second decade of the ХХІ century ASEAN met as a leading political force in the
region and authoritative website of international relations. However, the obvious is the fact that
with increasing economic potential, which is observed in the majority of the group for quite a
long time, and there is intensification of the process of economic integration will continue to
grow and the political weight of the Association. Research findings could be used by experts
and specialists MFA of Ukraine other government agencies, research institutes and centers that
are involved in planning and implementing the foreign policy of Ukraine in the Asia-Pacific region.
