Abstract

Abstract. The article analyzes the cause and factors of the particularities and the patterns
of the food security problems, as an element of international economic security; defines the
essence and substance of food security as a part of socio-economic development in the context
of international food security. The authors study the role of food security in the structure of state
economic security and determine its place in this structure; characterize the quality of food
products from the standpoint of food security; define the concept of national food security. The article analyzes political, legal and innovational factors of the food security level and determines
the components of the food securities of countries of the world.
