THE CONCEPT OF COLLECTIVE SECURITY OF ITALY

Abstract

Abstract. Nowadays Italy is included into G8 of the countries with the biggest economy, occupying
one of supervising positions on the European arena, and also is a member of such influential
international organizations as the European Union and the NATO.
Last decades the works of the world scientists were published, which basic attention is concentrated
on modern system of national and regional security of Italy.
Article purpose is analytical research of the model of national security of Italy for the purpose
of definition of its characteristic signs and classification, and also its estimation as a possible
threat to national interests of Ukraine.
The analysis of scientific researches concerning the sphere of national security of Italy in the
international relations shows the accurate tendency on close cooperation with institutes of EU
and the NATO in the sphere of national interests of the country.
The carried out analysis of the Concept of national security of Italy testifies that its model is
a collective within the limits of the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union.
At the same time, the analysis of alternative sights at the national interests of Italy testifies
that according to the operating concept Rome is not a threat to the national interests of Ukraine.
