Abstract

Abstract. At the present stage of the world economy development, innovation business
processes and forms of entities’ interaction on the basis of Internet are becoming more complicated
and widely applied. Practical development of the network economy outruns theoretical
studies; therefore the objective of the given article is to define the qualitative features of the new
economy formation on the grounds of global information and communication technologies.
For the time being the information technologies make the network technologies reasonable.
Global network technologies create all-powerful communication channels for information and
knowledge exchange.
Formation of the network institutional structure on the basis of educational and scientific
systems is accompanied with the expansion of distance learning technologies, the international
scientific database application, running of webinars, virtual projects implementation, open network
universities functioning, transfer networks connecting scientific institutions.
The main category of the new economy is information. Economic relations in conditions of
the new economy can be considered as a variety of network interrelation, the subject of which
is a recreation of the information product. The ability of the reverse movement of the information
product from the consumer to the developer predicates the appearing of parallel recreation
cycles, which contribute to the maximal rise of its value.
In the new economy the idea of the national Internet network does not exist. It helps to enhance
the boundaries’ transparency of the national information environment and create synthetic
local network of the higher hierarchy level.
Key words: the new economy, network economy, informatization of the world economy development,
information and communication technology, global network (Internet), network interrelation.
