ESSENCE OF OFF-SHORE FINANCIAL ACTIVITY AND ITS INFLUENCE IS ON ECONOMY OF UKRAINE

Abstract

Abstract. Off-shore financial activity occupies a considerable place in the global financial
system; there is substantial growth of volumes of off-shore operations and growth of amount of
off-shore financial institutions. Because of the wide use of offshore by domestic businessmen
and considerable scales of outflow of capital from the economy of Ukraine in offshore areas, researches
of negative influence of ofshoriv on a national economy and finding of ways of decision
of this problem for today are especially actual. Negative influence of ofshoriv on a national
economy shows up in an unfair tax competition which abbreviates the base of taxation and entering
national budget; assistance the outflow of capital; support of the shadow economy.
Marked negative consequences are required by strengthening of regulator and control measures
to off-shore activity both on national, and at an international level.
