Abstract

The paper is devoted to the analysis of how the legalization of the German shadow economy is regulated. It has been determined that the actions to reduce the size of the shadow economy are occupied an important place in the current system of state regulation of the economy in Germany. It is characterized by two relatively antagonistic contradictions of its development: the decline in the annual turnover of the shadow economy and the growth in the number of reported corruption cases since the new century both in general and in most corrupted industries and sectors of the economy of Germany, in particular.
Key words: economic regulation, corruption, shadow economy, state economic policy of Germany, legalization of the German economy.
