The comparative analysis of the economy of Ukraine and Poland on the base of the national accounts

Analyzes the development of Ukraine’s economy against the background of Poland in the framework of improved D. Bell five sectors model of economy to demonstrate reserves growth. Found that for the past eleven years the growth rate of the economy of Ukraine was higher than in Poland, but very large difference in the level of economic development of countries. Poland ahead of Ukraine in labor productivity by 3,8 times. Ukraine and Poland’s own production does not cover their needs and need to import oil, gas, energy. However, the production of consumer goods and the collection of all kinds of services (especially in Poland) above the effective demand. Based approach in the development of new features characterizes countries.Key words: gross value added, the product of intermediate consumption, imports, economic growth.
