The role of the Parliamentary Assembly in the protection of human rights in the Council of Europe

Abstract

The article deals with role of the Parliamentary Assembly on the issue of human rights in the Council of Europe and cooperation with Ukraine. The author has examined the direction of work of the Parliamentary Assembly on Human Rights protection. He presented the conclusions on the Assembly and its committees’ work in the direction of protection of human rights, their prospects and the level of cooperation with Ukraine.
