The major trends and problems of the development of international mechanisms of protection of human social rights

Abstract

The article describes the basic international mechanisms for the protection of social rights at the universal and European level, specified current trends of its development. Author pays special attention to the issues of improvment their efficiency with individual or collective complaints procedures and analyze the problem of states’ reluctance to take international obligations for the protection of social rights.
