Стаття присвячена основним проблемам заснування та розвитку ініціативи Східного партнерства Європейського Союзу. Її втіленню в якості складової регіональної політики ЄС. Розглянуто основні протиріччя і недоліки, які були закладені в структуру ініціативи при заснуванні і їх вплив на сучасну динаміку відносин ЄС з державами регіону. Місце даної ініціативи в структурі зовнішньополітичних ініціатив ЄС і вплив головування Польщі в ЄС на перспективи просування ініціативи в умовах політичної напруженості на Південному напрямку від ЄС і економічної кризи.
The article is dedicated to the main issues related to establishment and development of the European Neighborhood partnership initiative, its implementation as
a part of EU regional policy. Review of the main contradictions and shortcomings embedded in the structure of the ENPI during its development and their impact on the current dynamics of EU relations with the states in the region. Place of the ENPI in the structure of the foreign policy initiatives of the EU and impact of the economic crisis and Poland's presidency on perspectives of the promotion of the Initiative in the context of political tensions in the Southern direction of the EU.
