PROBLEM multiculturalism in contemporary American society

Abstract

The authors deal with the problems of interaction of cultures within multiethnic
polycultural states illustrated by the USA. It must be emphasized that the problem
of adoption and preservation of cultural environment, ethnical identity, and
regulation of ethnic structure of population remain the key point in the world of total
globalization.
