The relevance of the material stated in article, is caused by influenceof crisis on business activity of Ukraine. Objective of this research is to consider
franchising as a way of the small and average enterprises effective functioning in
Ukraine under conditions of world financial crisis. In the article there is presented
the essence of franchising and advantages and disadvantages of this form of busi-
ness development for both sides of the agreement. The development of franchising
is investigated in the world and in Ukraine in 2008-2009. Forecast of the franchis-
