INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND AS THE FOUNDATION OF A NEW GLOBAL INSTITUTION: PERSPECTIVES AND CHALLENGES

Abstract

The perspective of International Monetary Fund’s reform is consid-
ered in the article. The main purpose of the article is to analyze the problems of
today’s global financial co-operation between developed and emerging countries
and how it is being regulated by the IMF and other world financial organizations.
The relevance of the material stated in the article, is caused by global financial in-
stability and by processes caused by it. Since it is still a challenge for the world
economy, the concerned information is of a great importance and can provide prac-
tical outputs in the area of international economic relations.
